Job Title: CREDIT ANALYSTS
Location: Lisle, IL
Responsibilities:
- Communicate directly with credit manager, the sales staff and vendors to underwrite and close new transactions
- Process includes; review and analysis of credit bureaus, D&B and other like commercial reports, financial statement analysis, business history, understanding the collateral which we are lending against and its application, background investigations, bank and trade references
- Perform ongoing monitoring of specified accounts in accordance with credit approval and policies
- Assist in underwriting portfolio acquisitions
- Analysis of existing and new vendor programs
- Assist in new product research, development & underwriting
- Assist in the development of new markets and related risk issues
- Ensure that approval criteria are followed
- Assist senior management in their efforts to achieve specific business objectives
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of credit /underwriting / portfolio management experience with a commercial bank or finance company or leasing company within the referenced Industry
- Must be PC literate in Word and Excel
- Comply with credit underwriting objectives and established parameters
- Comply with company policies & management directives
- College degree (BS/BA with course work in Business preferred)
Job Title: CREDIT ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Lisle, IL
Responsibilities:
- Understand the credit approval process and its requirements.
- Evaluate credit applications for completeness/effectively communicate deficiencies to vendors.
- Input vendor credit applications into credit/receivables system in a timely manner.
- Compile required credit information for credit analyst review
- Initiate credit reference request when needed
- Maintain database of lender contact information.
- Ad hoc reporting as requested.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with construction or commercial vehicle industries preferred.
- High School Degree
- 2 - 3 years work experience preferred
